Shirleen Njoroge

LEARNING & ENGAGEMENT LEAD

Shirleen has been with Wasafiri since 2016 leading research related to preventing of violent extremism in Kenya and Tanzania. She has contributed heavily to the design of alternative measures to tackle extremism, and has conducted extensive research with community groups, national and county governments, civil society and at-risk populations.

With a background in Law, Shirleen brings diverse skills from working on issues such as security, governance and human rights. She has over 10 years’ experience working in project management, stakeholder engagement, capacity building, project monitoring and evaluation.
