Claudia leads Wasafiri’s Food Impact Area and is additionally Regional Manager for the African Food Fellowship. She supports leaders, smallholder farmers, international agencies, companies and communities to transform food systems in a sustainable and inclusive way.
Claudia believes that by changing food systems, we can impact the biggest challenges of our times: hunger, environmental degradation and climate change, poverty, and marginalisation. She has worked with social enterprises, NGOs, bilateral donors and multilateral organisations for over 15 years.
Claudia’s multidisciplinary background spans international relationships, management, rural sociology, and natural resource governance. This places her well to facilitate conversations among different actors. Her superpower is being a mom of two and still managing to get stuff done.
