George stepped into his new role in 2025, where he leads strategic partnerships that advance Wasafiri’s goals, growth, and impact. He cultivates collaborations with key stakeholders to unlock opportunities and resources that support the organisation’s long-term sustainability.

Previously, as Wasafiri’s Head of Operations & People, George championed transformation at individual, institutional, and societal levels. With over 15 years’ experience, he has led research and development projects across Sub-Saharan Africa, delivering both impact and client satisfaction. His leadership in Kenya and Nigeria has strengthened systems and mentored teams to adapt without compromising quality.

George also mentors startups through Enpact, helping entrepreneurs scale, connect internationally, and refine their strategies. As a Board Advisor to the St. Paul Self Help Group, he contributes to governance, capital growth, and inclusive financial services.

He brings deep insight into enterprise risk, governance, and reputation helping organisations align credibility with long-term performance.
