A founding director of Wasafiri, Ian provides strategic and financial oversight across the company.

He has worked globally on complex issues related to food, climate, and nature. Ian has led the strategic design, incubation, and delivery of diverse systems change initiatives, for clients including various G7 governments, the World Economic Forum, the United Nations, and leading NGOs, multinationals, and foundations. He combines skills in multistakeholder facilitation, critical thinking, clear communication, and strategy. 

Through his research on social change, Ian holds a MPhil from Newcastle University and is a Fellow of the RSA. He’s an ever-optimistic entrepreneur, an over-eager Dad, and a whimsical adventurer in the great outdoors.
