Remembering our friends who lost their lives in the Dusit attack
BY HAMISH WILSON
Today, on 15 January, all of us at Wasafiri are pausing to remember those who lost their lives in last year’s tragic attack on the Dusit complex in Nairobi.
In particular, our thoughts are with the family, friends and colleagues of Feisal Rashid and Abdalla Dahir, with whom a number of us worked closely. Both Feisal and Abdalla demonstrated a relentless commitment to improving security and stability in the region, and to building strong, safe, resilient communities. It is because of committed, passionate people such as Feisal and Abdalla that we can all afford to be optimistic about the future.
