Carolin inspires, guides, and leads Wasafiri’s research, monitoring, learning, and evaluation (MLE) projects and initiatives across our impact areas and clients. She is part of the team applying our proven systems change approach, Systemcraft, to the design and implementation functions of research and MLE for projects.

With a passion for innovation in evidence generation, learning, and knowledge sharing, Carolin has effectively managed projects for clients over the past 15 years. Her portfolio includes work with the FCDO, World Bank, USAID, Sida, WRI, and various UN agencies such as UNDP and ITC. Additionally, she has garnered private sector experience as Head of Impact for an architectural design and construction firm.

Carolin’s previous roles include positions in PwC’s international development team, the Business and Development Team at the Overseas Development Institute, and GIZ, the German Development Agency.
