What information do we collect?

We collect 2 types of information: Personal and non-personal data.

Non personal data is collected by cookies. This gives us data about how people are using our site. This helps us to make our website better and more useful to the people that use it. This sort of data doesn’t identify you individually.

Personal data We only collect this data if you give it to us. You can use our website without submitting your personal information to Wasafiri. However, if you email us, signup for our newsletter or other communications, request copies of resources or interact with us through social media then you will need to provide us with personal information and we will store this in our database. At any time you have the right to tell us to delete your information, or ask for a copy of it.

What will we use your data for (and what won’t we)?

Wasafiri will never sell or rent your data to anyone. We will only use personal data to stay in touch with you and share newsletters and invitations to events that we think may be of interest. You will always be able to opt out of receiving any communications from us. Typically, Wasafiri sends monthly newsletters and will only invite you to events in your geography, so we won’t be overloading your inbox.

Note that Wasafiri has entities outside the UK who will be able to access any personal data that you give us. These countries may not have data protection laws as comprehensive as those in the EEA (European Economic Area). However Wasafiri will manage your data in the same way, whether you are inside or outside the EEA.

Cookies

We use cookies to help us learn about how people are using our website and to monitor traffic. Cookies do not give us any personal data about you.
