A founding director of Wasafiri, Hamish provides strategic and commercial oversight across the company.

In his consulting and advisory roles, Hamish has focussed on helping clients navigate complex issues relating to stability, resilience, extremism, and humanitarian affairs. He has worked at all levels of government, military, corporate, and NGO organisations, providing strategic insight to strengthen policy, programme design, and political engagement.

Hamish’s diverse career has seen him on the front lines of humanitarian and stabilisation responses as far afield as Afghanistan, Myanmar, Somalia and South Sudan. He draws from a background in corporate consulting, leadership and organisational development, and wilderness search and rescue. Throughout, his passion has remained the same; helping leaders tackling tough problems make better decisions.
